Innovative treatments for today’s frequent sports injuries
Depending on your specific injury and symptoms, we may recommend a spinal adjustment or spinal decompression. An adjustment will work to improve your spine’s overall alignment, which can promote healing and provide relief from pain and other symptoms. The spine’s alignment can have a major impact on your musculoskeletal and neurological system, so many athletes are surprised at what a difference this technique can make. Spinal decompression, on the other hand, works to reduce pressure on the discs between the vertebrae, making it an effective means of treating back and neck pain caused by herniated or bulging discs. Other chiropractic methods for sports injury treatment include:
K-Laser Therapy
K-Therapy uses laser lights to treat and manage pain and inflammation while accelerating tissue regeneration and reducing swelling, stiffness, and pain.
Active Release Technique (ART)
This patented technique is of particular benefit for treating sports-related soft tissue injuries of muscles, ligaments, tendons, and nerves by delivering precise directed tension and specific movement that breaks up scar tissue and helps restore function with minimal treatment time.
Multi-Cervical Unit Treatment
We are the only chiropractic office in the region with such an innovative tool for addressing neck pain by accurately evaluating and then strengthening weakened muscles in the neck for improved mobility and reduction of chronic pain.
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT)
This therapy accelerates recovery from sports-related injuries by increasing collagen production, reducing inflammation, accelerating healing, and reducing the risk of infection, among other researched benefits.
Shockwave Therapy
This is used to treat acute and chronic pain in muscles, tendons, and joints by using acoustic waves to deliver a focused, precise deep-tissue treatment, resulting in improved circulation and pain relief.
