Our Services

Dr. Gray has leading techniques and technology available to help eliminate your pain

There are many different types of neck pain which can be addressed through chiropractic treatment, including muscle pain and spasms, neck-related headaches, nerve pain, facet joint (vertebrae) pain, bone pain, and even referred pain – which is pain from another part of the body that manifests itself in the neck. Given that nearly 70% of people are impacted by neck pain at some point, Dr. Gray has many time tested techniques for relieving this debilitating issue.

Upper and Middle Back

Pain to your middle and upper back fall into five categories: acute trauma, long-term stress, posture, genetics, and infection. We see patients regularly who have suffered back pain caused by a trauma, such as a car accident or bad fall, and have successfully diagnosed and treated their pain, whether the trauma took place in the last month or in the last decade. A lifetime of poor posture from youth into adulthood can lead to continual discomfort that may eventually prevent you from working. If any of these situations apply to you, we would enjoy the opportunity to meet and discuss how Gray Chiropractic can help.

Lower Back

Most lower back pain is caused by regular wear and tear (spondylosis) that occurs in the joints, discs, and bones as we get older. The most common issues are strains and sprains, which can be caused by over stretching or tearing ligaments or tearing muscle or tendons in the back. Similar to other back pain, acute trauma can also cause injury or compression to the lower back and lead to a number of issues. For more than 25 years, Dr. Gray has provided holistic approaches to healing lower back pain. We urge you to seek our support in removing pain from your daily life.

If you suffer from headaches – whether the regular dull type, the debilitating migraine, or something in between – you are living with regular discomfort that impacts your lifestyle. There are many headache causes that include foods you eat, daily environmental stimulations, hormones, stress, and more. What you may not know about are the benefits that a chiropractor can provide. Dr. Gray also will assess and make recommendations related to nutrition and diet, working environment – such as how you sit each day – and exercise and relaxation techniques.

As our bodies age, there are some things we can’t avoid or cure. Osteoarthritis (OA) is a chronic disease, but Dr. Gray has treatment options that can help you manage your symptoms. OA primarily occurs in the knees, hips, lower back, neck, and small joints in the hands and feet. Investigating what works best for you as an individual will be our primary focus at Gray Chiropractic. Manual manipulations of affected and surrounding areas can have very positive results for OA sufferers. Additional techniques may include ultrasound, Shockwave, low-level laser, or infrared sauna to treat tissues nearby with the goal of reducing overall pain.

Legs and Feet

Think about it: your feet and legs experience an incredible amount of wear and tear each day and over a lifetime. And, since each part of the body is interconnected, injuries and pains that start in your feet or legs may eventually work their way into other areas. Mystery neck pains may be related to how you walk. Plantar fasciitis can cause problems in your hips or back. Dr. Gray diagnoses each patient holistically and as an individual so you can be confident that his assessment and recommendations will be tailored to you, your body, and your lifestyle.

Pregnancy-Related Pain

Managing pain during pregnancy is vital to maintain your health and that of your baby, along with other important daily wellness needs, such as mood, comfort, and strength. Changes to the pelvic region, a protruding abdomen or back curvature, and expected weight gain are just some of the reasons a woman may experience a misaligned spine or joints that can be corrected with chiropractic. Dr. Gray is trained with decades of experience treating women who are pregnant or trying to conceive. Call today so the happiest time of your life can be pain free and so you can retain your overall body health for that special time that’s to come with your baby.

Accident-Related Pain

Pain and auto accidents are a common pairing. Even in a minor fender-bender, pain may emerge and become chronic. Addressing pain that results from such an incident is important to avoid long-term discomfort or even worse. Since chiropractic care is non-invasive, it can be the ideal solution for correcting injuries due to a car wreck. Through a collaborative assessment, where Dr. Gray will ask many questions and allow for you to ask many more, he and his team can diagnosis injuries and provide a treatment plan that will help alleviate near-term pain and prevent today’s discomfort from becoming chronic and impacting the rest of your life.

Holistic Treatment Services

Chiropractic uses successful training and techniques to address injuries and disorders to the musculoskeletal and nervous systems non-invasively. Dr. Gray has more than 25 years of experience diagnosing and treating acute and long-term injuries, relieving chronic and recent pain, improving posture and restoring your lifestyle without surgery or pills.

AllCore 360

The AllCore360° leverages the force of gravity to train all of the core muscles in a no impact, balanced, and coordinated fashion. Using isometric contractions to resist gravity, riders engage and train over 50 internal core muscles while performing a 360° plank.

Active Release Technique (or ART) is a manual therapy of certain soft tissue structures that is used to identify adhesions (internal scarring) that occur from acute, chronic, or pressure-related injuries, causing pain and limiting range of motion. ART releases the adhesions from your muscles and nerves and promotes internal healing.

Graston Technique (GT) therapy can successfully treat soft tissue conditions, whether acute, post-surgical, or chronic, such as Carpal Tunnel, ankle or neck pain, fibromyalgia, and more. Proprietary instruments and methods are used to treat scar tissue and fascial restrictions to enable faster rehabilitation and restoration of overall normal functioning.

MCU is the most effective and complete device for assessing and rehabilitating patients suffering from neck pain, whiplash, and general cervical spine disorders. The MCU provides objective, individualized evaluations by recording cervical spine movement and isometric strength in real-time, while delivering a better rehab experience for you.

Wearable sensor technology, dorsaVi™, is the latest tool for measuring movement and muscle activity. dorsaVi will allow Dr. Gray and his team build a treatment plan based on metrics from this revolutionary wireless technology that records movement data at 200 frames per second, while providing a visual, objective, and easily interpreted data for your performance evaluation.

K-Laser therapy uses specific wavelengths of light – red and near-infrared – to stimulate the body’s natural ability to heal. Laser energy may be used by Dr. Gray to address headaches, neck pain, and dozens of other issues to improve healing time, reduce pain, increase circulation and decrease swelling

FX 635 Laser therapy is specifically designed to treat heel pain, such as plantar fasciitis – a painful inflammation of the connective tissue that lends arch support to the feet. This low-level laser therapy promotes cellular function through painless bio-stimulation. It provides a non-invasive, effective solution to quickly improve walking comfort without surgery.

Class IV laser therapy is proven to bio stimulate tissue repair and growth. Class IV laser therapy accelerates the healing process by decreasing inflammation and pain. During each painless treatment, laser energy increases circulation, drawing water, oxygen and nutrients to the damaged area. This creates an optimal healing environment that reduces inflammation, swelling, muscle spasms, stiffness, and pain.

In the hyperbaric oxygen therapy chamber at Gray Chiropractic & Sports Associates, the air pressure is increased two to three times higher than normal air pressure, providing an ideal environment and healing element for the body. Hyperbaric treatment can accelerate healing by boosting your body's oxygen content by up to 3 times its normal level.

Orthotics can help correct foot, ankle and leg problems without surgery. Gray Chiropractic can conduct a customized fitting to ensure you receive devices that are customized to your body and optimally address your symptoms.

Footlevelers are custom made orthotics, or stabilizing orthotics. Generic, over-the-counter insoles are mass produced, don't address the underlying cause of pain and discomfort, and are made of inferior materials. Stabilizing orthotics are proven to reduce back pain by 34.5%.

NanoVi helps repair everyday cell damage caused by what you eat, what you breathe, what you exposed to each day and oxidative stress. Eng3's patented NanoVi™ technology produces the same biological signal your body makes to repair cell damage brought on by free radicals (also known as reactive oxygen species or ROS). The signal from the NanoVi™ device supplements the ones your body makes naturally.

RockTape supports healing by providing a microscopic lifting effect underneath the skin to reduce inflammation. RockTape has also been shown to delay muscle fatigue and normalize muscle tone to optimize physical performance without limiting motion. With 25 years supporting athletes around the country, Dr. Gray can show you the best techniques for using RockTape.

Shockwave therapy is a non-invasive solution that leverages shock waves or acoustical waves to address musculoskeletal pain by delivering high-energy percussions (or pulses) to the tissue being treated. The treatment causes scar tissue and calcific fibroblasts to break down and promotes healing by triggering metabolic activity and an inflammatory response.

EMTT (Extracorporal Magnetotransduction Therapy)

Extracorporal Magnetotransduction Therapy is a non-invasive, evidence-based procedure developed specifically for the treatment of degenerative joint disorders, acute and chronic pain, and sports injuries. EMTT uses high-energy magnetic pulses transmitted to the affected areas of the body. Many patients report a significant improvement in their symptoms—sometimes even freedom from pain—after just a few sessions.

The SolaJet DRYWAVE Massage System is a perfect alternative and new advancement in traditional massage. Inside, a powerful traveling water jet delivers a relaxing full body massage as soothing streams of warm water and deep tissue penetration combine to deliver the perfect massage experience. The therapeutic heat and flushing wave action enhance both circulation and lymphatic system.

The InBody 570 goes beyond traditional body composition analysis. It not only analyzes how much fat and muscle you have, but it also measures your total body water and divides it into Intracellular water and Extracellular water. With these water values, you can identify and track inflammation, swelling, and even injuries with ECW/TBW Analysis.
